Department as a Service
Department as a Service means subscribing to a managed AI department that performs a business function such as support, marketing, sales or operations, with human governance and weekly optimisation included.
AI departments
AI departments are groups of AI workers trained around a specific business function. Each department has defined tasks, escalation rules, reporting and approval boundaries.
Managed AI workforce
A managed AI workforce is a set of AI departments supervised by SkyX and the client. It handles repeatable work while people remain responsible for approvals, exceptions and decisions that need judgement.
Governed AI automation
Governed AI automation uses approval gates, audit logs, escalation paths and data controls so automation can support business operations without acting outside agreed limits.
Autonomy levels L0-L4
L0 observes and reports. L1 drafts for review. L2 acts only after approval. L3 completes approved routine work within limits. L4 is reserved for tightly controlled emergency or high-trust workflows.
Chief AI Officer / CAIO
The CAIO layer gives leadership a single operating view of AI activity, risk, performance and improvement across departments.
Skill Engine
The Skill Engine is the SkyX capability layer that helps AI departments learn approved workflows, reusable tasks and business-specific instructions.
